I have been doing interdisciplinary research since 1989, combining mathematical modeling or numerical simulations with experimental sciences. I am the author and co-author of publications in physics, biology, technology-enhanced learning (TEL) and science education. Since 2005, my research has been focussing on the field of TEL in the domain of science and mathematics.
I am especially interested in the ways that ambient technologies can contribute to create a universe in which learners make experiences meaningful for learning. Currenlty, I am working mostly on higher formal education, and on learning methodologies (experimental design, modeling, data analysis,...).
